Since snow was in the forecast for Sunday morning, we weren't surprised to see some on the ground. The dramatic effect of the wind-driven wet snow was a bit of a surprise however.
Here's the view to our neighbors to the south. Look at those heavily laden evergreen trees.
I thought the snow plastered on the garage looked like something you would expect in Siberia this time of year, but not Illinois! As most of you experienced, the snow was significantly melted in the afternoon sun the same day, but the morning show was pretty entertaining.

I was a bit depressed with the unseasonable weather (I am ready for SPRING) but it was beautiful. If it has to snow, that's the way I want it to snow, with every branch and twig having a layer on it.
