Although not hot, we had had some decent drying weather until the week before the 27th. Since then we are back in our cool and rainy pattern, which doesn't make the farmers any less anxious. We'll pray the crops continue to dry so they can be harvested without a lot of extra expense, and so nothing rots in the fields. Check back in a few days for a view of the corn on October 4th.
