Nope, Jeremy, I don't plan to do any measuring on that field. The wires attached to that thin white stick can be pretty entertaining should man or beast try to play with them though.
Victoria -- there's been no activity yet, but the weather has been favorable so I wouldn't be surprised to see Farmer Wagenbach planting something shortly. Of course, our faithful blog readers will be the first to know.

Oh, yes! Spring is my most favorite season! One of my boys, when he was five, found out the hard way that those wires are meant to keep cows in and boys out!
