Construction Update #32
We were blessed with a delightful dry evening tonight, and predicted dry weather overnight, so Karen and I finished off the first coat of paint on the barn. Now on to the second coat!
When you first started painting, I didn't care for the red. Now that you've finished the first coat, my opinion has changed. I think it looks really nice. Good job!
That looks like such a lovely building! Now, I must be nosy and ask... is there an apartment in the upstairs? or a working space? It almost looks like it could be a house all on its own!
Thanks for the compliment Jeremy, but don't get too attached to that shade of red since it won't be there long. Stay tuned for details...
That's not nosy at all Diane. There's about 640 square feet of open space up there just waiting for a purpose. The girls think it would make a wonderful sewing room, but it probably won't see that use until we've done a lot more work up there.
What a beautiful barn. All your hard work is paying off. Hope the girls get their sewing room. My eldest daughter does her sewing in her room but it can get pretty cramped when she has out all her stuff. A sewing room would be such a blessing.
