Reformation Day Faire, Day 1

Charlie Zahm blessed us with his music again this year, beginning with this concert this evening. The afternoon sessions featured teaching from Marcus Serven and Kevin Swanson, but unfortunately, I wasn't present to photograph or enjoy those presentations.

The crowd was large, but not yet packed to the limit.

Although this is a bit blurry due to the low light conditions, you'll have to trust me that this guy sings really well.

Mr. and Mrs. Castle enjoying the concert.

Here's Elder Price busy with his portrait service. Business was already brisk and the weekend is just beginning!

Part of the cry of The Reformation: Sola Fide, by faith alone.

I'll try to get more photos tomorrow, and hopefully comments that are more insightful. Thanks for visiting!

  2. I've heard Charlie Zahn, and he's fantastic. I wish someone would do something like this in our area. What a wonderful day of history and fellowship for you all.

  3. I've just found your blog, possibly from LAF, I think..., and just want to let you know I've enjoyed getting to "know" your family reading through your old posts.

  4. Diane -- one more thing that has to wait until January 1...

Victoria -- our celebration started small a number of years ago when somebody thought it was a good idea - you could do the same! Yes, we did have wonderful teaching and fellowship.

Linda -- thanks for pausing to say hello. Sorry that most of our posts are very dull, but if you stick around long enough you might find one clever thing. Your husband's "Steadfast Agrarian" board looks interesting enough that I'm going to pass that link along to my agrarian friends. Stop back again!
